The benefits of economic and financial education in society and specifically, in children and young people, are widely recognized.

Good management of personal finances is vital to strengthen the economic health of society; there seems to be a correlation between financial training and the habit of saving that its citizens develop; and there are even studies that demonstrate a relationship between the GDP slowdown between 2007 and 2013 and adult financial literacy. However, Spain is far from the most advanced countries in Europe in terms of financial education.
